Yeah, that's an unfortunate side effect of me actually having no idea what the hell I'm doing when it comes to the actual creation of the caption itself, haha. I've been going forward with the "make it big and readable" mentality, but I have noticed a couple times that the quality has dipped once I've exported the file, so I'll try to get that figured out. Thanks for the praise and criticism!
At the time this one came out, I was using paint as a (admittedly very crappy) solution to tide me over until I found something I liked using. Since then I went over to gimp at the recommendation of someone on Reddit, and after using that for a few caps, I realized I had messed up the compression and that was making things more blurry. I've changed it up since then, so hopefully some of my more recent stuff has been a bit better quality, although there's not a lot that I can do for the pictures, unfortunately.
I think your captions are great! Could use a little bump up I'm the resolution quality though? Just my $0.02
